Ticket tips
Buying tickets over the internet:
When buying tickets through the website for pick-up by third parties, the buyer (holder of the credit cart used for the purchase) must name the person who will collect the ticket, giving the full name at the time of purchase.
The voucher is not valid as a ticket and must thus be exchanged for a ticket, which can be collected only at bus terminal ticket office against presentation of the voucher. Should the voucher not be available, the ticket may be collected by the customer only against presentation of an Identity Card and the credit card with which the purchase was made.
Should the passenger decide not to travel, or reschedule the date and time, or alter the class of service (Standard, Executive, Flat-bed or Conventional), the ticket may be canceled up to three hours before departure, under penalty of losing the amount paid.
Tickets may be canceled at the bus terminal ticket offices listed on the Catarinense website or through the Call Center (55 48) 4002 4700 for Florianópolis and Curitiba, and 0300 1 470 470 (other locations). Cancelation will be effective only by rescheduling the ticket for another date or time, or through reversing the amount paid through the credit card administrator. In both cases, customers must present the voucher, or an identity card and the credit card with which the purchase was made.
Purchase through an Accredited Agent:
When buying tickets, customers must ensure that the point of sale is an accredited agent of Catarinense.
Do not buy tickets from third parties.
Check out our points of sale through the Catarinense site, or call (55 48) 4002 4700 (Florianópolis and Curitiba) or 0300 1 470470 (other locations).
Purchasing through the Call Center:
When buying tickets through the call center, have your personal documents and credit card to hand. Note down the route, date and time of the bus ticket purchase.
On completing the transaction, note down the tickets numbers stated by the operator, as these numbers will help locate purchases made through the call center.
Only the card holder may collect the ticket. Make sure you arrive 40 minutes before departure time.
